Standing in the balcony of my room, I see a storm coming. It’s
no ordinary storm, but the one whose only purpose is destruction. It is
happening, no matter how much as we may disagree but we would all be someday
engulfed in it, or be a part of it creating more havoc than forecasted.
We claim to be a part of a civilized society but what
defines our civilization ? We claim to be a part of the society that has
evolved and flourished over centuries but failed the basic evolution flaw. Relevance
! To understand what I’m going to say further requires the acceptance of
trivial fact of life that man is a hypocrite. He will showcase his armor to
the world when anyone points a finger at him irrelevant of the righteous of the
relevance of the opposite kind. A man sets his own point of reference for the
basis of his philosophy. He will never go back 2 steps to watch himself to
judge his own actions. There are certain subconscious ideologies which he
unknowingly follows but never questions his own perception. He defines right at
what his senses tell him. In contrast, a man turns offensive when anyone points
a finger at him. It is not the rational perception that drives him at that
moment but his defense armor that turns on. It is this point when the battle
of wits begins. It is this time when reasoning clash, giving their perception of
what’s right and what’s wrong.
It is imperative that both alliances fail to give up. The
sad part is that only one shall stand and one shall fall, and a much sadder
part is the party standing is the one with power. Power is what drives
everything. May it be a human mind or the whole economy? It is what is propagated
at all levels of ideologies. When a mind achieves a level of authority and
power, it is then that it changes the way to think. The question that arises is
if that line of though good or bad. Let me give my reason of explanation.
It all comes back to
relevance and purpose !
Purpose is what defines a mind what to do. It is the real
motive which dynamically changes depending on what he wants. And relevance is
reason for that purpose. It is the final outcome that benefits a chunk of
people, the decision being relevant only for that segment. It’s what drives a
decision judgement. “You call your decision rational? But how can it be when
your scope of purview is what only you can see, or want to see? “
Now the final question crops up, is that relevant decision
good ? It’s been quite some time that I have stopped believing in good or bad,
right or wrong since there cannot be a perfect socialist structure implemented
in the kind of world we live in. Every judgement will have repercussions that
would go against someone and will favor their counterparts. It is the sad truth
of decisions to be taken. Time would take away our loved ones away from us, to
pave way for new evolved tenets to fathom us in the vicious cycle. But how
relevant is those plans of action, only time would tell.
